I had known about Renee a long time before I had the pleasure of meeting her in person. One of my best friends, Valerie, told me that she had a friend from work that she thought I would really get along with. Before I met them, I knew that Renee and Rich were a fun couple from stories Val had shared, and I was very excited when they booked a wedding consultation with me!
The wedding on June 8th, started with Rich and Renee getting ready in separate suites at the Club at Corazon. I really loved the courtyard area attached to the bridal suite – this is where Renee read a personal note from Rich, and where she had a touching moment with her mother when she gave her an embroidered handkerchief. After all of the bridesmaids were ready, we took some group photos out there in front of the ivy wall, and I really think those turned out fantastic because of the complimentary colors of the dresses.
Renee and Rich knew that they wanted the first time that they saw each other on their wedding day to be a memorable, intimate moment between just the two of them, so they chose to do a first look. You could really feel the love and anticipation radiating from both of them as Renee walked towards Rich, and I just love that I was there to capture the magical moments that followed.
The ceremony was held outdoors, in front of pond. It was simple, and elegant – it was all about the love these two share. You can tell by the way that they look at each other, and their intense closeness that they are truly meant to be.
Rich and Renee, I’m so happy for you both in finding your soulmate. Thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding day. I am honored to have been your wedding photographer. It was a beautiful day, and you guys are a truly terrific couple.
And thank you, Valerie, for making the connection!
