I first met Anna and Julie at the Roosevelt Coffeehouse last November for a consultation about their wedding photography. I was overjoyed when they signed with me, and then in the early summer 2018, we did their engagement shoot at the Scioto Mile. During the shoot, they were so much fun to be around, and they had obvious chemistry. Walking into the wedding day I knew that it would be an absolute blast, but I had no idea how much fun all of their friends would be too!
When I arrived on site, I first met with Julie’s “squad” and then the couple did a First Look in front of the Vue, followed by more bridal party photos. This wedding wins the award for “Most Efficient Family Portraits” – If I remember correctly, there were 25 different groupings that they wanted shots of, and we knocked them out in 20-25 minutes! That’s really not typical AT ALL. We didn’t have to chase down any rogue family member and it all went so smoothly, I was very surprised. (Great job on that, guys!)
Anyway, the ceremony was one of the most heartfelt that I’ve ever witnessed. They both wrote their own vows, and I was tearing up behind my camera! It’s easy to see how happy these two are together.
Congratulations, Anna and Julie! Thank you for the honor, opportunity and privilege of being your wedding photographer!
