Allie and Jay were married at Saint Joseph Cathedral in Downtown Columbus, Ohio on May 18th, 2019! We loved every minute of this gorgeous wedding!
Saint Joseph’s Cathedral is truly a piece of artwork. Construction on St. Joseph’s was started in 1866 and took over 10 years. The architecture is just completely awe inspiring as you look up at the ceiling. I have been very excited to shoot my first wedding here and the wedding of Allie and Jay did not disappoint!
The wedding was very elegant and classy featuring pale pink and purple dresses and flowers. The walk down the aisle was a long, beautiful one for Allie and her best friends! After the ceremony, there was a fairy-tale-like exit out of the church and we went to the Scioto Mile and Byrne’s in Grandview for pictures.
The reception was amazing! Saint Charles was a very impressive location for a reception. The walls of the ballroom are brick and there is a huge skylight above the stairs, so it looks as if you are outside. It was a huge wedding, and everyone was dancing. The band rocked and kept everyone on their feet all night! It was a beautiful day from start to finish.
Thank you so much, Allie and Jay, for trusting us with your wedding photography. You and your family made us feel like part of your family for the day. We wish you many happy years of marriage!
