I am THRILLED to share Sam and Zac’s beautiful summer wedding from the Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Columbus! I arrived for the end of the wedding preparations and then we went to the roof for the first look! I just love the look on Zac’s face as he’s waiting for Sam to let him turn around! Absolutely adorable, for sure! She came up from behind, and put her hands over his eyes! Such a cute way to do it!
This was my first time on top of the Renaissance for a wedding, and I would definitely recommend it to brides! The small ceremony on the terrace was gorgeous, just breezy enough, and a beautiful location all around! It was a very intimate occasion, with about 30 guests including family and close friends. If it weren’t for the quiet city noise in the background, you would have completely forgotten that you were Downtown Columbus!
After the quick ceremony, we walked to the Scioto Mile for a formal session with the bridal party! It was about a 10 minute walk, so not bad at all! The area really gave us the PERFECT backdrop for fantastic pictures, featuring bridges, water and an amazing skyline to work with. Not only was the scenery great, but Sam and Zac have an insane amount of chemistry, which makes the photos even more beautiful!
Lastly, we returned to the Renaissance for a short dinner for the guests from the ceremony, where I photographed some of the details, such as the cake and rings.
A huge congratulations to Samantha and Zac. May your marriage be filled with all the happiness in the world. Thank you so much for letting Zach and me be a part of your day. It was truly an honor!
